This picker works from a picture. Open one from your device, click the pixel you want, and the exact HEX and RGB values for it appear with a swatch.

One click reads one pixel, so pick a point away from an edge where two colors meet.
A photograph of one object holds many shades, so pick from the area you want to match.
JPEG compression shifts pixels slightly; a PNG of the same artwork gives a cleaner read.
Copy the HEX for stylesheets, and the RGB when the file you are editing asks for numbers.
