These terms govern your use of SPOTTOOLS, a set of free tools that run in your browser and never receive your files.

1. Acceptance
By using the site you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. The service
The site provides software that runs inside your web browser to convert, compress, resize and otherwise transform files you choose, and to style text. Processing happens on your device. We do not receive, store or transmit your files and have no ability to recover them for you.
The service is free and supported by advertising. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
3. Your files and content
You keep all rights to files you process and to their results. You are responsible for having the right to use any file you process and for keeping your own copies; resizing and compression cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an original.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the site to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to interfere with the site’s operation, to circumvent or block its advertising in ways that damage the service, or to scrape or republish its content at scale. You may link to any page.
5. Our content
The site’s text, design and code are ours or licensed to us. Open-source components remain under their own licences. You may not copy the site’s text or design for a competing service.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Results depend on your browser and device; a tool may fail on a particular file. Check results before relying on them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to HK$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Advertising
Ads are supplied by third parties and identified as such. We are not responsible for advertisers’ content or for sites they link to.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of {{ site.jurisdiction }}, and the courts of {{ site.jurisdiction }} have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
