Frequently asked questions

Do my photos get uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is read by the browser you are already using and the result is written back to your downloads. Nothing about the file is sent to a server, and the tool keeps working if your connection drops.

Is there a file size or batch limit?

None that we set. The ceiling is your own device's memory, because that is where the work happens. A whole camera roll in one go is normal.

Why convert HEIC at all?

HEIC is what recent iPhones and iPads save. Windows and Chrome cannot open it without extra software, so anything you send on is safer as JPG or PNG.
