How many images can I add at once?

There is no fixed limit. Past about 500 MB the page warns you before it starts. Files with the same name get a number added inside the ZIP. Older browsers are told plainly that they cannot run this.

Why does my SVG come back with an error?

The file needs a viewBox, or a width and height, for the page to know how big to draw it. Many SVGs exported from code have none. Add one in a text editor and try again.

Choosing the export size

An SVG carries no fixed pixel size, so the width you pick is the width you get. Export at twice the display size when the image has to stay sharp on a retina screen.

  • Fonts are drawn as this browser sees them. Convert text to paths in your editor when the exact typeface matters.
  • PNG keeps transparency, so whatever the SVG left transparent stays transparent in the file you save.
