Frequently asked questions
Does this connect to Instagram?
No. Nothing is read from an account and nothing is posted to one. It is a drawing of what a profile would look like, made from the photos you drop in, and it never asks you to sign in to anything.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. They are read by the page in your own tab. The grid, the previews and the picture you save are all made there, and no photo is sent to a server.
Which photo is the next one I post?
The first in the list. A profile puts the newest post top left and moves everything else along one place, so the list reads in posting order and the grid reads the way the profile will look.
Why are my tall photos cropped in the preview?
Because that is what the grid does. Tiles are filled from the middle of each photo rather than squashed, so what you see is what the profile will show. Switch to the tall shape if that is how you post.
Can I plan more than nine?
Yes. Add as many as you like — the grid keeps going three across, and the line under the tiles says how many rows there are and how many spaces are left in the last one.
Planning a grid that holds together
Drop in the photos you mean to post, in the order you mean to post them. The grid below is what the profile looks like once they are all up.
- Rows of three are what people see first, so look at each row before you look at each photo.
- One repeated colour across a row does more for a grid than nine matching photos.
- Leave the last row unfinished on purpose — it is the row that changes with every post.
- Save the plan before you start posting. The order is easy to lose halfway through a week.
