The small jobs that interrupt real work: decoding a JWT to see what is in it, formatting a JSON blob so it can be read, hashing a string, testing a regex against a sample, generating a password or a UUID. Nothing here needs a paste into someone else's server.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste a token or a key in?
It never leaves your device. The JWT decoder, the hash generator and the formatters all run in the page, so a token you decode here is not transmitted or logged anywhere.
Where are the generated passwords kept?
Nowhere. Between eight and sixty-four characters, up to twenty at a time, made in your browser tab. They are not saved, not sent and not recoverable once the tab is closed.
Does the JWT decoder verify the signature?
It decodes and shows the header, payload and claims so you can read them. Verifying a signature needs the secret or key, which belongs on your server, not in a web page.
