Two questions that calendars answer badly: exactly how old someone is today, and exactly how many days sit between two dates. Both count leap years properly, and both give the answer in years, months and days as well as a plain day count.

Are leap years handled?
Yes. The count is done on real calendar dates, so 29 February and the years that have one are included where they fall.
Does the range include both end dates?
Not unless you ask. The count is the gap from the first date to the second; a checkbox adds the end day as a full day, which is what a contract or a notice period usually means.
Which time zone is 'today'?
Your device's. The page reads today's date from the browser, so the answer matches the calendar on the machine you are looking at.
