Can I read a QR code from a photo or screenshot?
Yes. The QR code scanner decodes a code from an image file you choose, or from your camera. The picture is decoded on your device and is not uploaded.
Will the code stop working later?
No. The code contains your link or text directly; it does not point at a redirect we host. There is nothing on our side that can expire or be switched off.
Can the scans be counted?
Not here. You download a plain PNG or SVG, sized from 256 to 2048 pixels, with no metadata written into it. A direct code leaves nothing to count.
