Frequently asked questions
Is this a PDF download?
Not directly. The sheet is laid out for the printer, and your browser's print dialog has Save as PDF in it. That keeps the page free of a PDF library it would otherwise have to load.
What prints, exactly?
The header lines you typed, the grid with each day's punches and totals, a total row, and two signature lines. The navigation, the advert slot and the rest of the page are left off.
Can I do a two-week sheet?
Yes. Set the pay period to two weeks and the grid grows to fourteen lines, grouped by week. Overtime is still tested one week at a time.
Does it work out overtime?
It splits regular from overtime at a threshold you set, forty hours a week by default. For an hourly rate and a gross pay figure, switch the panel to 'Period and pay'.
Is anything I type saved?
No. The names, the hours and the totals exist only in this tab. Refresh or close the page and they are gone.
What a Signed Time Sheet Carries
Type the shifts, the breaks and the names, and the grid prints on its own: no navigation, no advert, no second blank page. Your browser's Save as PDF turns it into a file.
- A sheet that goes to payroll needs a name, a company and the period it covers, or nobody can tell which fortnight it belongs to.
- The punches print next to their totals, so an approver can check the arithmetic without entering it again.
