Can I choose the font and size of the page numbers?
Yes. Three standard PDF fonts — Helvetica, Times and Courier — a size from 6 to 32 points, and a color picker for the ink.
Is it possible to number only some pages?
Yes. Name them in the pages box, like 3- or 2, 5-7. There is also a switch that leaves the first page blank.
Will this overwrite existing content in my PDF?
The page numbers are drawn over the existing page content. You should choose a position in the margins to avoid covering existing text or images.
What happens if I switch to another tab while it works?
The work pauses and picks up where it left off when you come back. Browsers throttle hidden tabs, so a job left running in the background would slow to a crawl or stall outright.
Can I use Chinese, Japanese or accented text?
No. The text is drawn with the three typefaces every PDF reader already carries, and those cover Latin-1 only. Anything outside it stops with an error instead of printing blank boxes.
