Frequently asked questions
Can I select a non-consecutive range of pages?
Yes, you can specify individual pages or ranges to extract, such as "1-3, 7, 9-10", to create a new PDF containing only those pages.
Does splitting the PDF reduce its quality?
No, the pages are extracted from the original document without any re-compression or alteration. The quality of the content remains identical.
How are the new files named?
Splitting into pages or chunks names each file after the original plus its page numbers. Naming pages yourself gives one file, called original-pages.pdf.
What happens if I switch to another tab while it works?
The work pauses and picks up where it left off when you come back. Browsers throttle hidden tabs, so a job left running in the background would slow to a crawl or stall outright.
