Does this tool change the original PDF?

Are there limits on the PDF size?
The tool processes files locally in your browser. The main constraint is the amount of memory available to your web browser.
What happens if I switch to another tab while it works?

Can I use Chinese, Japanese or accented text?
No. The text is drawn with the three typefaces every PDF reader already carries, and those cover Latin-1 only. Anything outside it stops with an error instead of printing blank boxes.
